Home learning is recognized by Cleeve Park as an important and necessary element in raising and maintaining standards. Home learning has many functions. It can, for example, be used to consolidate learning, finish off class work, practise new skills, and/or develop the ability to work independently/ autonomously. It also encourages the involvement of parents and carers in the education of their children.
