Why Home Learning?
Home learning gives pupils and students the opportunity to develop independent study skills; carry out independent research; and consolidate, develop and deepen class learning.
Pupils and students will be set home learning in the normal course of teaching and learning in accordance with the home learning timetable wherever possible. Should home learning not be set by the teacher or if a pupil is absent the pupil/student should do the home learning task for the specified week and hand it in to the teacher on the following lesson.
Where to access Home Learning?
Home Learning tasks can now be accessed through the CPS Portal via the website which means Pupils and Students can logon to the school server and get their files just as if they were in school.
How to access Home Learning tasks from home?
1) Open school website: www.cleevepark.org then click on CPS Portal on the top right corner. 2) Type in your logon name and password (same as pupil/student uses in school)and put cleevepark into Network box then click Login. 3) After login, move your mouse pointer over MyWorkspace and click on Home Learning. 4) Browse the file you need within Home Learning then Subject folders. 5) Open the file you want and save is as your own copy on your home computer.
